🛒 Online Order Delivery & Pick-Up Information (Delivery Option A) 

 

1. By Courier / Transport Delivery

Important Notes:
  • Full delivery address is required.

  • Delivery cannot be made to PO Boxes or Australia Post-owned properties (includes post offices, locked bags, parcel lockers, or parcel collect locations).

Dispatch Lead Times:
  • Stock Items: 1–2 business days (weekends & public holidays excluded)

  • Non-Stock Items: 3–5 business days

2. Click & Collect (Pick-up)

Lead Times: (You will be notified once your order is ready for pick-up)

  • Stock Items: Ready for pick-up in 2 hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00am – 4:00pm)

  • Non-Stock Items: 3–5 business days

Pick-Up Location: 

  • 30B Legge St, Roselands, NSW 2196 at Online office Only
    – Please contact us before arrival to ensure your order is ready for prompt collection.

Loading Information:

  • Large orders, including tiles and building materials, are palletised and loaded using a forklift.

  • If your vehicle is too small or forklift loading is not possible, self hand-loading will be required.

Pick-Up Hours:

  • Weekdays Only: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Important Note:

  • Online and in-store orders are processed separately.

  • Online orders must be collected from the online office only; please do not queue at the Kim’s Roselands store counter.

  • Contact us before arrival to ensure your items are ready for pick-up at the correct location.

  • Any additional orders, exchanges, or refunds during pick-up must be handled through the online office, not the Kim’s counter.

  • Online Order Delivery Fees:

    • Delivery fees for online orders are calculated based on item size, weight, and delivery location.
      For small items, delivery fees are calculated automatically through the Sendle platform. However, for large, heavy, or long-length items,
      the fee cannot be calculated automatically.

🚚 Sydney Local Delivery Fee Guideline – By Kim’s Tiling Supplies’s Trucks (Delivery Option A) 

To provide the most accurate delivery cost, our fees are calculated based on the distance from our Roselands Warehouse.
We strive to offer a reliable, safe, and efficient delivery service tailored to your requirements.

 

Delivery Price Structure

We offer two delivery pricing options, depending on the type of offloading required at your site:

 

  • Price 1 (Standard) – Delivery without Crain/Manitou lift. This option assumes that manual offloading is possible at your site.
    Customers must have sufficient staff to assist with unloading if the items cannot be offloaded mechanically.
  • Price 2 (Mechanical Lift – With Crain / Manitou) – Delivery with Crain/Manitou lift. This is required for orders that cannot be manually offloaded,
    such as heavy tile pallets or large building materials.

📌 Important Notes

1. Delivery Origin

All delivery distances are calculated from our Roselands Warehouse, located at Kim’s Tiling Supplies. Please ensure the address provided is accurate to avoid additional fees or delays.

 

2. Lift Requirements

  • If your order includes heavy or bulky items, mechanical offloading is required. 

  • Price 2 (With Crain/Manitou) must be selected for deliveries requiring a crane or Manitou lift.

  • Manual offloading without the appropriate lift may result in delays or damage.

3. Our Fleet

We operate a range of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient delivery:

  •  12T VOLVO – Equipped with Manitou forklift for heavy pallets and large loads.
  • 10T ISUZU – Equipped with crane for precise offloading in tight spaces.

  • 2T HINO TIPPER – Ideal for loose sand or small orders (1–2 pallets). Manual offloading required for non-palletized items.

4. Access Requirements

  • Crane or Manitou deliveries require wide access.

  • Residential driveways must be accessible for large vehicles.

  • Narrow streets or small driveways may require third-party crane trucks.

5. Manual Offloading (2T HINO TIPPER)

  • The driver will only deliver to the site.

  • Customers are responsible for providing labor to manually offload items.

  • Suitable for small orders or non-palletized products.

6. Alternative Transport

During periods of high demand or if our fleet is fully booked, we may use trusted third-party transport services.

  •  Fees for third-party transport may differ from our standard schedule.
  • We ensure that all third-party providers meet our standards for safety and reliability.

📄 Delivery Terms and Conditions

* Delivery Address

-Correct and complete address must be provided at the time of order.
-Incorrect addresses will incur re-delivery fees.

* Estimated Delivery

-Estimated delivery date and time are provided for planning purposes.
-We cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen conditions.

 

* Changes and Cancellations

-Changes or cancellations are accepted up to 2 days before the scheduled delivery.
-A 30% handling fee applies for changes made after this period.

 

* Delayed or Missing Delivery

-Customers must notify Kim’s Tiling Supplies if the order is not received on time.
-We will liaise with drivers to ensure delivery is completed as soon as possible.

 

* Inspection and Signing

-Customers should check the delivery docket for items, batch numbers, and condition of tiles before signing.
-Any defects must be reported to the driver immediately for prompt resolution.

 

* On-Site Operation Time

-Delivery includes 1 hour of unloading/operation time.
-Additional time incurred will be charged at $50 per 30 minutes.

 

* Liability

-Kim’s Tiling Supplies is not responsible for loss or damage to items after delivery.
-Delivery will be conducted under the assumption of inherent risks (see below).

 


⚠️  Assumption of Risk, Release, and Hold Harmless Agreement

 

Delivery of tiles and materials involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to:

 

  • Cracked driveways or structural damage.

  • Damage to grass, lawns, plants, flowers, or landscaping.

  • Other property damage caused by vehicle weight, height, or width.

  • Discolouration or skid marks due to slippery conditions, inclines, or declines.

  • Inconvenience caused by delivery to a location other than specified.

 

Customer Responsibilities:

    •  Any damage or costs resulting from a vehicle becoming bogged due to site conditions or customer directions are the customer’s responsibility.
    • This includes all associated costs, such as towing or removal of the vehicle.

    • Violations of road regulations during delivery are prohibited.

    • Drivers reserve the right to refuse any request outside the standard delivery scope.

    • Aggressive or abusive behavior towards drivers or operators will not be tolerated. Customers will be liable for any penalties arising from such actions.
